Carnations are no longer your grandmother's flower. Carnations have become widely popular again as they come in a wide variety of colors, have a very long vase life, and are very dependable. With their large, soft feathery heads, carnations have always been used to add color, texture, and depth to floral arrangements, but grouped together in mass they become a statement on their own. Carnations do equally well in water and in flower foam, and as a result of their hardiness, brides and event planners often use them massed together as a budget-friendly option to hydrangeas or in situations where hydrangeas do not do well, ie. hot, sunny locations or in situations where the flowers will not be in water for a period of time. Â Our carnations are shipped in bud form directly from the farm. We recommend you have them delivered 2-3 days before your event.Â
